Football continues to be the biggest ratings magnet in television. The AFC Championship Game on CBS was No. 1 in prime time for Central Florida last week. The NFC Championship Game on Fox would have been No. 2, but it started outside prime time.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the New England Patriots in the AFC game, and 697,600 viewers tuned in. The San Francisco 49ers beat the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC game, which averaged 555,900 viewers.
